Janet Lefley

Janet Lefley is an artist and writer living in Chicago. While in college at UW - Madison, she began illustrating a story starring a giant turtle, an adventurer, and a mouse. She received an MFA in Printmaking from Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia in 2000, all the while drawing the turtle, the adventurer and the mouse. After her MFA, she began to write the story down and it turned into an illustrated novel. Along the way the Adventurer became a boy and the novel became for kids. Janet is proud to be represented by Michelle Andelman of Regal Literary.
